- Blackberries are a highly concentrated source of antioxidants, which help fight free radicals, the nasty things that can cause diseases and cancer.

- Figs can help lower high blood pressure due to their high potassium content, and help keep blood sugar under control. Figs can also be used to help minimize the symptoms of asthma.
- Eggplant is a recommended food to maintain overall health in people with type-2 diabetes. It can also lower cholesterol, and its compounds have been shown to prevent certain types of cancer.
