I'm looking forward to this week's menu. I plan to stay at $60 for the week by using the following grocery savings strategies:
-Using good quality meat as a "condiment" rather than the main attraction to stretch it further.
-Going meatless one night this week.
-Serving more in-season fruits or veggies than meat at any given meal.
-Eating breakfast from a batch of homemade frozen waffles instead of more expensive boxed goods.
Breakfasts
-Oatmeal-Chocolate Chip-Coconut Milk Waffles with Fresh Fruit x 3
-Cinnamon Rolls with Fresh Fruit
-Bagels with Fresh Fruit
-Oatmeal with Fruit and Toast
Lunches
-Out to Eat x 2
-Tuna Sandwiches, Chips, Fresh Fruit
-Turkey Roll Ups, Chips, Fresh Fruit x 2
-Leftovers
Dinners
-Grilled Tri-Tip, Grilled Veggies, Warm Tortillas
-Tri-Tip Salad, French Bread (salad uses this Balsamic Dressing recipe)
-Avocado BLTs, Chips, Fresh Fruit
